Welcome to the

Chapter of Omega Phi Alpha at the University of Kansas

Omega Phi Alpha is a national service sorority that was founded on June 15, 1967 at Bowling Green State University. In 2010, a chapter at the University of Kansas was established—Alpha Kappa—making us the first and only service sorority at KU! Siblings of Omega Phi Alpha are committed to its three principles: Friendship, Leadership, and Service.

Each year, Omega Phi Alpha spends thousands of hours doing service for the community which is what often sets us apart from strictly social sororities. Each semester, members plan six different service projects that cater to different areas of service. In addition, our members complete individual service hours on their own time. While service is our priority, we still like to have fun! Our chapter also plans social & friendship events throughout the year to bond with our siblings and to connect with other organizations on campus.
