welcome to the
chapter of omega phi alpha at the university of kansas
WHO WE ARE
Omega Phi Alpha is a national service sorority that was founded on June 15, 1967 at Bowling Green State University. In 2010, a chapter at the University of Kansas was established—Alpha Kappa—making us the first and only service sorority at KU! Sisters of Omega Phi Alpha are committed to its three principles: Friendship, Leadership, and Service.
WHAT WE DO
Each year, Omega Phi Alpha spends thousands of hours doing service for the community which is what often sets us apart from strictly social sororities. Each semester, sisters plan six different service projects that cater to different areas of service. In addition, our members complete individual service hours on their own time. While service is our priority, we still like to have fun! Our chapter also plans social events throughout the year to bond with our sisters and to connect with other organizations on campus.
